The slow unraveling that “Plan A” is gone.
Late last year, Team Lofti was cued up for a 2020 national tour. With wild excitement, we began to move from dream to reality. Planning the adventure, expanding our tour partnerships with brands, and pinching ourselves as we actualized each stop experience. From branding to wellbeing programming, we were onto something special, different and real to grow our business. Then, in early January, it all began to unravel. As I sat with this new uncertainty, I realized “plan A” was gone.
When all you have is an option for a new plan, where to begin?
As a small business owner, I am intimately familiar with emotional peaks and valleys on a daily - and sometimes hourly basis. This five-step process is something that I practice regularly. I create space for self-care to reflect, bring in perspective, and seek gratitude before tackling a challenge. Allowing myself space and time for decision making, management, and problem-solving, leads to a more effective and productive outcome every time.
