  • Increase engagement on your posts
  • Get people to take action on your content
  • Build your email list
  • And ultimately, land more clients


The 5 Components of the Honey Trap Method


Let's break down each part of the Honey Trap Method:


1. The Content Event

This is your main piece of long-form content. It could be:

  • A podcast episode
  • A live video (like on Facebook or Instagram)
  • A YouTube video

The key here is to create content that prompts your audience to take action and join your Bridge Funnel ??


2. The Bridge Funnel

This is where you guide your audience after they've consumed your content event. It could be:

  • A lead magnet
  • A workshop
  • A webinar
  • A challenge

The goal? To capture email addresses and nurture potential clients.


3. Push Content?

This is your pre-event marketing content. It's designed to:

  • Get you in front of your ideal audience on social media
  • Get them to self-identify as leads
  • Drive registrations for your content event


4. Pull Content?

This is content you create after your content event to drive people back to it and to your Bridge Funnel. It's primarily social media posts and emails designed to:

  • Increase views/listens of your content event
  • Get more people into your bridge funnel


5. Evergreen Content

This is how you create lasting traction for your content. It involves:

  • Creating blog posts optimized for search engines
  • Adjusting your video titles for better searchability

Your Evergreen content will also drive people back to your Bridge Funnel.


The beauty of the Honey Trap Method is that all roads lead to your Bridge Funnel, helping you build your email list and guide potential clients towards your offers.
