Let’s rewind to 2006, when I first dipped my toes into the real estate waters. I met a dynamo REALTOR, a fantastic woman from Colombia, who had just joined Coldwell Banker. Fresh in town, she was poised to conquer the real estate world—and conquer she did, snagging 11 investment properties right off the bat!
Battling Against Odds
But as we all know too well, life loves to throw curveballs. Amidst her rising career, she faced a painful divorce, sacrificing much of her hard-earned portfolio. Yet, she soldiered on, balancing life as a single mom and a top-tier REALTOR. Just when things seemed to stabilize with a new love and more properties, tragedy struck—a brain tumor diagnosis for her new husband.
The following years were a testament to her resilience. Her husband’s health battles took a toll, both emotionally and financially, as they navigated surgeries and explored costly alternative treatments. Despite these challenges, her vision of a secured financial future never wavered. She knew the importance of an endgame, and that's exactly what she was fighting to preserve.
