Turn Off Your Mind, Relax and ChatGPT

I have no reason to write with AI. Isn't that like paying someone to do your homework? Never did that either. Like the line from the only worthwhile Jurassic Park movie, ""Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

I forgot to write that article on franchises that should have stopped with one film. While I would rather reflect on Crocodile Dundee, The Exorcist, Ghostbusters and others; the ability to "Create" using artificial intelligence is the difference between making love and using the main reason AI exists.

That remains my most provocatively titled article. I could write about incels as well. Probably after the next mass shooting. There is no desire to put my ideas into ChatGPT and see what they come up with.

I have attended two funerals where the brothers of the deceased mentioned their teachers thought their reports were enhanced by their older brothers who already took the class. No, they thought similarly and came to comparable conclusions.

If you need AI for likes and comments you probably should not post. A couple fun and creative LinkedIn members created a Mad Libs through AI. It would have been more fun at a party or after school.

Who wants to cause people to stop using their brains? The creative process is one of my favorite parts of life. Classically, articles have a beginning and an end. Where I go in the middle is unexpected. I don't need the predictability of Artificial Intelligence.

This will anger teachers. Many have copied and pasted reports. Now ChatGPT is trying to justify that as progress. No, progress is cultivating your own ideas in your own words. The more you put your brain on automatic pilot the less it is used and that is a factor that causes dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.

The brain is a muscle. Don't let it atrophy because you can download an app. Using a program to create a post under your name is like getting a woman drunk so you can have your way with her. If you cannot win someone over on your own merits you need to stay home.
