Turkish Ambassador Visits VMB: Strengthening FMCG Trade Relations between Türkiye and Bahrain
On 12th March 2024, H.E Mrs Esin ?ak?l , Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kingdom of Bahrain along with the Embassy’s Commercial Counsellor Mrs. ?eyma Demirhan , visited the VMB Headoffice in the HIDD Industrial area. They were greeted by the Chairman Mr. Sushil Muljimal Ashar, Managing Partners Mr. Punit Ashar & Mr. Hemant Ashar along with various team members.
VMB is the Exclusive distribution partner for some of the major Turkish FMCG brands in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The VMB Trade team briefed HE Ambassador ?ak?l about the Company’s operations in the Kingdom & its contribution to the Turkish Brands. The company’s historical imports of the Turkish brands were presented and aspirations for the future were also discussed. Commercial Counsellor Mrs Demirhan also presented the Turkish export figures in the FMCG sector and showcased possible avenues for further expansion of Turkish imports to Bahrain.
HE Ambassador ?ak?l thanked VMB for its active engagement with the Turkish business partners and pledged her full support in enhancing the presence of Türkiye’s FMCG trade in the Kingdom of Bahrain. HE Ambassador ?ak?l also emphasized the strong bond between both the countries in all sectors.
