Turkish Airlines is in in discussion with both Airbus and Boeing to purchase 235 aircraft as part of its expansion plans. This follows a previous deal with Airbus for 355 aircraft announced last December. Chairman Ahmet Bolat stated that the airline aims for a balanced approach between Airbus and Boeing but is currently awaiting the resolution of Boeing's issues before making a decision. Additionally, Rolls-Royce is considering establishing maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities in Turkey, as well as expanding its supply chain sourcing. The airline unveiled a strategic program in collaboration with Airbus and Turkish aerospace companies to develop the Turkish aerospace industry.
