Turkey's 100th birthday

The Turkish Republic is officially 100 years old next month. The borders of Turkey, and Greece, were very nearly massively different from now, see linked maps at top of

https://fooddeserts.org/images/000GreekTurk.htm

Turkey suffered badly for picking the losing side in World War One. But the country orifginally soiught assistance from Britain and France, but was rebiuffed by both, more or less driving it into the arms of Germany.

What would have been the history and geography of the entire region had Turkey been on the Allied side, 1914-18? (or maybe, then, 1914-17 or even 16?)

Perhaps a more preferable history, in terms of warfare and lives lost, than the history we actually got ??
