TurboDry? Outfitted Ultra Runners Rank Top Ten in Summer Races

Salt Lake City-based ultra-runners and TurboDry? wear testers, Jacob Grant, Caleb Olson and Garrett Corcoran - AKA ‘Bois of the Satch’ - all achieved spectacular run times in three separate summer mountain runs: The Speedgoat 50K, Tushars Marathon, and Cirque Series Snowbird 8.7 mile trail run.

Snowbird sets the stage for the iconic Speedgoat 50K race, that consists of over 10K’ of total climbing. The race is all above 7600', with the majority above 9200'. According to race organizers, this is the most technical race east and west of Snowbird Ski Resort. It’s rocky, rooty, snowy, has very steep hills, even steeper descents, and has all over nasty, wet rocky terrain. Congratulations to Garrett Corcoran who placed 6th with a finish time of 5:36:37 and Caleb Olson who placed 9th with a finish time of 5:51:18!

The Tushars Mountain Runs feature 100 Kilometer, 70 Kilometer, Marathon and Half Marathon distances in a little-known mountain range near Beaver, Utah. The Runs are staged out of Eagle Point Resort at an elevation of over 10,000 feet. All race distances climb to the highest point in the Tushar range, Delano Peak at 12,174 feet. Bravo to Jacob Grant who placed 2nd in the Marathon distance run with a finish time of 4:29!

The Cirque Series Snowbird is an 8.7 mile course in the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest with a 3, 566’ of climbing. Garret Corcoran placed 3rd with a finish time of 1:21:24!
