Success in Digital is about combining Quality with velocity like the Cognizant Aston Martin partnership. Cloud is not just an enabler, but is at the Core for the digital shift.
The world today is changing at a never-imaginable speed. Leading eCommerce sites handle about 2 billion transactions per day, enable customers to redeem thousands of coupons per minute and send millions of packages per day.
A recurring theme for all the technology leaders is their ability to enable seamless experience through the Power of Cloud. To handle this volume, maintaining speed of delivery while ensuring quality is a common need across modern enterprises.
In the digital world, enterprises need to deliver high quality products on a rapidly evolving technology stack. Building a customer-satisfying product requires embedding quality across the development lifecycle that does not impede speed of delivery into production. With Continuous Testing, DevOps teams can test early and test often with higher degree of automation, and use Azure Cloud to do it at even high speed.
We recently hosted a workshop on Continuous Testing on Azure to help enterprises configure continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD). The participants tested the prototype of an online shopping application with a solve-and-learn approach in Azure Pipelines. The two-hour workshop had lots of interesting takeaways:
· Set-up continuous testing on Azure native services integrated with open source tools
· Use of containers for seamless automation scalability
· Ready-fix debugging of typical issues in continuous testing pipeline
· Best practices in testing for DevOps, tooling alternatives and enablers
As enterprises step-up product innovation, they require higher speed and more efficiency across the DevOps lifecycle without compromising customer experience. Cloud can turbocharge Continuous Testing on DevOps – much like nitroboosters in racing cars – as winning in digital is about putting quality in fast lane.
