tunnel vision objectives
In the past month, I have been working with a new team in new building and I used to park in a certain location constantly being a creature of habit.
During this month I noticed that a certain parking lot is always occupied by the same car, knowing that the parking lots are opened to who comes first parks, I was extremely surprised by the owner of this car, how come he always maintain the same location for a month, I arrive early and the car is there and I leave a bit later than my normal departure time and the car is still there!!.
I became focused every morning on this parking location and every time I find the same car, I started to aim for taking this location from the current benefactor ??, and became possessed with the urge to park in this place, I changed my arriving time to office to make it 7:00 a.m. instead of 7:10 a.m. and still the car was there, made my arrival 6:50 a.m. and still the car is there, and then coming 6:40 a.m. and the car is there, so I decided to arrive at 6:30 a.m. and the parking slot is empty and I proudly parked in it.
Had the feeling of crowned king for 2 minutes and overwhelming sense of accomplishment, once I opened the door of my car to exit, I found that there is a column next to it like anywhere else that makes your movement limited, I looked around and found that I gave away much nearer parking slots to the company entrance for this preferred location I put in my mind.

And it hit me, how many fake tunnels vision objectives have I been chasing?!, how many better options have I turned down for achieving other things that might have been not so worthy.
Do I have to achieve every silly objective I set for myself to know it is not so worthy what is the cost of that, is it time, money, or credibility.
I didn't take only the parking lot but I had an eye opening on what matters most prospective, and that not all targeted worth aiming at , I learnt to save my ammunition for the biggest worthy ones.
