The Tunnel of Light

I woke up today morning with the news of the transitioning of my close friend's 28-year-old daughter. I use #transition consciously because Death is one such just as Birth is. Notice how the human mind quickly tries to analyze and put together a story inside its mind holes, and the #Spirit (#Soul #Consciousness) inside me prompts me to just observe and stay in the moment, transitory it is. It is as if I am in an altered state now. The muse in me nudges me to share my inner journey.

Death reminds you to examine your life journey. The mystery of death and the magic of life keeps tugging at our hearts. Paradox it is, or do I say Oxymoron!! Does it matter?

Imagine for a moment, that the act of death requires us to drop our existing vehicle, and wear a lighter one, which allows us to travel different dimensions toward light. Yes, I agree I have not yet been on the other side, yet there is this innate knowing we all carry (may not be fully aware yet) that there is existence on the other side from where we all came and will return back to. Will it be right to say then that we came from "a source" and will return to "that source"?

Allow me to use a metaphor to appreciate the various layers. Death requires us to transform into a lighter costume to be able to transverse the light beam, often beautifully depicted in many movies, and hence the visual of it. The great scriptures of the world also mention such a light beam teleporting us to another dimension.

1. How do we then make friends with Death while we are Living?

2. When we do become friends with Death, just as we are with Life, will that liberate us to re-imagine our lives and thereby, live life differently and completely?
