Tunnel Construction
Tunnel construction projects across the globe is big business, and to help keep workers safe, x-Glo North America is committed to working with contractors and engineering firms to keep the work area well lit. x-Glo North America has recently supplied a world-class firm with 6.4km (21,000 foot) of x-Glo LED Strip lights to illuminate a tunneling project in Michigan (picture to come soon).
Conventional tunnel lighting usually consists of a light fixture placed evenly down the tunnel to achieve the required foot candles often leaving shadows. The x-Glo range is a continuous light that spans the entire tunnel eliminating shadows and increasing safety. When choosing your lighting, consider a few key factors including installation cost, storage of the fixture before and after the project, and maintenance on the lights.
Whether you are designing a tunnel or bidding on a project, contact us to see how we can help achieve the light requirements you and your team deserve.
There is light at the end of the tunnel.
