Tuning into Self-Worth: Embodying Personal Achievement and Inner Validation
Last night, a convo unfolded in my DMs. A friend and I were reflecting on the recent world track championships —yep, track was my college jam. He sent me this and it struck me: “It’s a beautiful thing to demonstrate to the world you are who you always said you are.”
Who hasn’t been there? Acting cool as a cucumber but inwardly dissecting how the world perceives us. We all yearn for that golden seal of approval, affirming that yes, we’re exactly who we claim to be.
Pause.
Here’s the kicker: What if the world can’t see what we haven’t first seen in ourselves? The universe outside is simply reflecting our inner landscape— our beliefs, our fears, our aspirations.
Speaking of dreamers… Every dreamer lives in the reality they aspire to reach, well before it manifests. Our dreams and desires aren’t just something to talk about— they MUST be embodied.
Life, my friends, is a loop of lessons. When the pendulum swings my way, it signals that I’m vibing high with my core desires. If the vibe feels off, it’s a nudge from the universe to do some soul-searching .
Remember that incredible young woman who won the championships after missing out on the Olympics? She said, “This year I was silent, and my work spoke for itself.” When asked about earning the worlds respect, she shared, “No, I earned the respect of myself after downplaying myself for so long.”
We’re not all chasing world records. We’re each running our personal races to become champions in our own right. Remember, the most important applause is the one that echoes in your own heart.
Next time you’re in a mental tug-of-war about what others might think, hit the pause button. Tune into your inner wisdom. The universe you seek to create is waiting for your acknowledgment.
