Tune Up For 2024
As we slide into a much needed holiday break with hopefully a bit of time to rest, enjoy and reflect, maybe its time to give some thought to the new year ahead
If you see next year as being a year of transition and change for you, here are some simple questions? that might help you in positively directing your ideas and energy to prepare for changes in 2024
What do you want (what do you really, really want) ? One of the hardest questions of all to answer is often “where do I want to go next with my life/my job/my career (delete as appropriate)?” Am I happy with my current circumstances and situation or have I been suppressing a desire to do something different? And if so, what?
What’s the Story Morning Glory?
How do I tell my story in a way that demonstrates my true capabilities and strengths to others. What are the success stories from my life that define me and am I skilful at telling these stories when looking for new opportunities?
I Can’t Get No Satisfaction
Is what you are doing right now exciting and fulfilling you? Are you capable of so much more but increasingly frustrated that you cannot find a pathway for this? Is it time now to do something about your dissatisfaction?
Shiny Happy People
Am I engaging with enough of the right people who will positively help me navigate the next stage in my life’s journey? Who have I added to my network in the last 6 to 9 months who could be valuable to me?
Wishing Well
Do I have a concrete plan to change or is it just a vague intent, a shallow wish without substance? What action do I need to take to translate my wish into a plan?
A Team
Would I make it onto the “A Team” when competing with others for new opportunities? What am I doing to invest in myself and build new capabilities to make me stand out in a crowd? What have I added to my CV in the last 12 months?
Someone Like You
How strong is my self-belief in my ability to stretch, persist and achieve the change I really want? What more can I?do to build my inner strength, resilience and determination?
