I’ll start with this, thank god Survivor is back tomorrow night.

Let’s look at the facts after 2 weeks of NFL and 3 weeks of College Football.

The first few are to just get somethings off my chest.

  1. The Dallas Cowboys are the same exact team as last year and they didn’t add one player of significance to upgrade their roster. I would trade the Ohio State Running Backs room for the Cowboys right now and I think they’d be better off. I would probably trade the defensive tackles too. The Eagles can run but can’t stop the run, the Cowboys can’t run AND can’t stop the run. The NFL has moved back to the running game after a few years of aerial dominance. Through Monday Night Football there were only 68 passing touchdowns, a significant decline from years past, as teams are choosing ball control and choosing to run the ball. Winning in the NFL is about being in front of the trends and both Dallas and Philadelphia have taken a step back in that regard.
  2. The Chiefs are still the best team and they will lose 4 games this season, everybody gives the Chiefs their best shot, the Bengals certainly did on Sunday. Complain about the PI all you want but the Chiefs just have the guy that’s gonna figure out a way to win the game.
  3. The ManningCast with Belichick is awesome. I had a great time watching last night’s game and really enjoy the ManningCast. It’s a great change of pace from after watching traditional broadcasts all week, I just wish that Aikman and Buck were on another time slot as I enjoy them as well, but I’m finding myself watching MNF exclusively on ESPN2. Belichick is unfiltered and informative, and was much more comfortable in Week 2. I’m sure at some point this year they will have him and Brady on at the same time and that will be great TV.
  4. Michigan STINKS.
  5. The player I’m the most pumped up for in the NFL is JK Dobbins. He was a stud at OSU and never really healthy enough to be the guy in Baltimore. He’s a guy who has a lot of fun playing and he’s in the perfect spot with Jim Harbaugh in LA.
  6. Kyler Murray is still Kyler Murray. The Rams-Cardinals game was almost as bad as the Dallas-New Orleans beatdown, but Kyler Murray was a lot of fun to watch, his new receiver could be even more fun. I hope Arizona continues to battle and test the NFC West that has some holes in it, particularly as San Francisco works through some serious injury problems.
  7. Every Ref in the NFL should be able to move like this guy, if you can’t get in position, you can’t be making calls in an NFL game. And if you can’t move like that because you’re 60 years old you definitely cannot see well enough to make up for the lack of positioning you have.
  8. The Texans are legit and probably the 2nd best team in the AFC
  9. I had a tough Week on the board.

Overall Record: 6-4

DOTW: 2-1

NFL Vibes only

Dallas -6 vs NO- LOSER LOL what a bad read I had on my own team. Saints might be good. Cowboys serious problems on defense and in the running game.

Eagles -6.5 vs ATL. LOSER. I actually bet on ATL after seeing how the big favorites performed on Sunday. I said I’d be happy to be wrong and oh boy did the Eagles have a meltdown to remember last night.

Commanders -1.5 over Giants WINNER, I realized that I had over on BH and Commanders on Linkedin. Giants are so dumb for not calling up a kicker. Daboll won’t survive the season.

Ravens Raiders over 41.5 WINNER. Ravens lost for me in survivor pool but the late surge from the Raiders got us a winner. We’ll take it

Updated Record: 4-4
