Another high profile collision highlights the importance of tugs in southeast Asia, explains editor Martyn Wingrove
The fatal collision between another US Navy destroyer and a tanker off Malaysia and Singapore at the weekend confirms the importance of tugs to shipping in Asia.
Tugboats were among the first on the scene of the collision between warship USS John S McCain and product tanker Alnic MC. Tugs helped with the search for 10 missing US seafarers from the destroyer, along with Singapore patrol ships and Malaysian vessels. Watch and Read the rest here:
