TUGO's vision for the future

TUGO's vision for the future

As CEO of TUGO I was recently interviewed and asked about my vision for TUGO's future – here it is!

Interviewer: Could you tell us more about TUGO's journey and the progress you've made in pursuit of your ambitious three-year plan?

Lee Personius: TUGO embarked on this journey with the goal of doubling our business turnover, and I'm pleased to report that we've made significant strides toward that goal. We're on the right path to achieving our three-year plan.

Interviewer: TUGO has these core food-on-the-go concepts: Pizza, Burrito, and Street Food. Can you share more about how these have contributed to your success, and what's next in terms of expanding your product range?

Lee Personius: These core concepts have been the cornerstones of our success, and we're not stopping here. We plan to expand this core range by introducing 2-3 exciting new core products. Our aim is to diversify our customer base into other sectors while continuing to innovate in the food industry.

Interviewer: TUGO recently received the Gold Accreditation from Investors in People. Can you tell us more about the significance of this accreditation and what it means for your company?

Lee Personius: It's a testament to our unwavering dedication to our team. This accreditation reflects our commitment to our outstanding team, who are the driving force behind our growth. It underscores our culture of inspiration and excellence, and it's a milestone we are very proud of.

Interviewer: You mentioned having a robust infrastructure to support your expansion. Could you elaborate on the key elements of this infrastructure?

Lee Personius: Our infrastructure comprises manufacturing capabilities, logistics, and support staff spanning the entire UK. It's designed to facilitate our expansion and ensure that we can continue to meet the growing demands of our customers.

Interviewer: TUGO has also invested in a state-of-the-art Development Kitchen. Could you share more about this facility and how it contributes to your growth and innovation?

Lee Personius: We've invested £350,000 in our Development Kitchen. This space is where we work tirelessly to develop new products and innovations in the food industry, positioning ourselves at the forefront of industry advancements. It's also a place where we welcome potential clients to join us for discussions on food innovations and solutions.

Interviewer: TUGO's growth strategy involves deepening relationships with your customers. Can you tell us more about this strategy and how it benefits your customers?

Lee Personius: We're committed to offering our complete product range to our existing valued customer base. This collaboration enables them to fully benefit from what TUGO has to offer. We want to provide them with unrivalled support and a wider range of options.

Interviewer: Sustainability is a top priority for TUGO. What are your plans in this regard, and how do you envision becoming market leaders in sustainability?

Lee Personius: Sustainability is a key focus for us. We're determined to achieve carbon net-zero status and are actively investigating B Corporation certification. This certification entails meeting rigorous criteria for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. We want to set new standards for sustainability in our industry.

Interviewer: In closing, what message would you like to share with your team and customers as you look toward the future?

Lee Personius: The future for TUGO is bright, and we're excited to have our Team and customers along for the journey. Together, we'll continue to push boundaries, innovate, and set new standards in the food-on-the-go industry.

Interviewer: Thank you Lee, for sharing your insights into TUGO's vision for the future. We wish you the best of luck in your journey ahead.

Love that you are exploring B Corp status - my good mate Grant Hayward would be a good person to talk to about that if you need some help.
