Tuesday..a conversation
A guy told me" Wow, you deal with a lot of businesses, I've seen your website you got everyone on there they must DONATE a lot of money to you" I smiled and said"yes they do, Sam's club donated $300.00 in our 8 year history, see we don't beg, we WORK, see they are our partners, I help them to help the community ,We help them save money, we help them to sell their products or services, do fundraisers to bring awareness to them and our mission, we help them more than we get back" He said " Why help them, they got all the money, they should be donating to you, you help everyone". I told him" Business are the cornerstones of our community's, this is a financial world, until we learn to work together for the sake of humanity and life, so I'm not just helping the business, I'm helping the PEOPLE in the business! If they want to donate to us, great, if not that's okay too, we will still help them because we are keeping people alive."
I know I might sound crazy not asking for money?? I could ask for donations, but I won't. See nothing is really getting done with the billions you have already donated, the same problems exist and are even worse. So I work creating the solutions, not band aids, and then we just do it,we don't ask for help, we just ask you to join us and work together
I will ask you to help us by supporting what we do from our recycling program, coming to our event's (fun time yay! ) to shopping & saving in our online mall. if you want to donate, we thank you it will help us grow faster But really we need YOU. You might not understand the why's, just know this.. What we are doing, and our plans for the future will affect YOU, and how you live. We are small in the scheme of things, But Hand & Hand Foundation goals are to be apart of your life, how? Clean air, Pure clean Water, Better Food, Green Healthy Homes and buildings, improving our education system and providing for the ones who are incapable. You can't put a price on life. I do want to thank our partners in business and in the community for being apart of change to help everyone to live "life in Balance" with each other and our environment. Have a Great day!

9 年lorraine I. james "life in balance" is a phrase i coined for how life should be, man destroyed a lot of that, So man can fix it, it's not too late..too care about people!

9 年Exactly,Chris What we do is work for the wealth of humanity. Really to be honest we shouldn't work for possessions period, see that's the trick, we work for "things", but these things should be guaranteed, We should be working "in" the system not "for" it. We make too much of everything more than we can sell, this makes no sense, economically or environmentally, but we are going to make new "things" and still haven't got rid of the old.yet, we still build homes, but have a 40% empty rate, and even if every homeless person (another discussion) had a living dwelling we still would have about 32% empty. We destroy about 35% of our food grown, but on your drive to work,look out the window at the people who are hungry..why? It's not like they all want to be there, On homeless feeds you would be surprised at home many ask me for work. Children suffer more than the parents, A child learns life from it's living environment What kind of life is there is your parents are homeless, no school, seeing drug use ,crime, murders over a blanket, drug, alcohol, rape (male and female ), prostitution, etc , Many have said we see this daily..I say "yes, you've seen it, now try living it". This is long enough comment, 1 solution is if everyone used their skills and gave time to projects that will help them, we can stop this. If company's put 5% of profit back into things that help people live. You want to know why economy is down..money hording! Business making billions yearly not putting back, or putting back into the wrong things just to "feel good" and get a tax break. but see we fail as people, all your money will be worthless, Where you gonna spend it?
