Tuesday Trio: Do I ask for help and support?
Tuesday Trio
Welcome to the latest edition of Tuesday Trio.
Each week, Tuesday Trio serves up three tips to evoke reflection and improve our mental health and wellbeing.
This week, we’re asking, “Do I ask for help and support?”
At I Am Here, we want it to be easy to find guidance towards help and support. Our Super Ambassadors, [email protected] and [email protected], are confidential email addresses that we can use at any time.
These email addresses can help us find out where help and support is available for ourselves, our fellow Team Members, our friends and family, or for anyone else we feel may need it.
What are we listening to this week?
We’ve been listening to this episode of the HBR IdeaCast, titled the Art of Asking For (and Getting) Help.

What are we watching this week?
This is a short YouTube clip from the School of Life called Asking for Help When We’re in Trouble.
There is a memorable quote in this short video that we at I Am Here won’t forget any time soon. “We respond well to screams, but terribly to hints.” Do we notice when someone might not be feeling ok, and do we have the courage, confidence, and skills to reach out to that person?
You can learn how to pick up on, and respond to, these hints by completing our I Am Here: Tribe Members course.

What did you take away from this? As always, we invite you to share with us on our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn .
Who are we quoting this week?
"The only mistake you can make is not asking for help."?- Sandeep Jauhar
This is a quote that feeds into the central belief at I Am Here: It’s ok not to feel ok; and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help.
