Is it Tuesday already?
Talent Acquisition Programs and Partnerships (TAPP) is the next chapter in my Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta career where I am focused on tapping into new pipelines within the communities the Sixth Federal Reserve District recruits our future teammates.
In writing about my Talent Acquisition journey, I am looking to share different opportunities there are to begin your career here and demonstrate how you can have meaningful work.
This week’s share is about an internal partnership with our Research Division which started with an invite Jessica Dill made to the Talent Acquisition Team to meet economics students, professors, teachers, and graduates right here at our headquarters in Atlanta.?Her LinkedIn tagline reads: "Housing market & payments industry enthusiast | Committed to growing & diversifying the pipeline of future econ professionals" and I got to see her in action- her #passion is infectious!
I took her up on her invite and was able to attend the Econ Collaborative of Atlanta-Area Academic Institutions (ECo3AI)'s Capstone Reception hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Research Division on April 6, 2023. What energy!
Check out the panelists and moderators the attendees got to hear from as well as the list of schools the students were in attendance:
And then after the event, we came together to meet old and new partners in our work and learn about their initiatives and how we can support each other.

Jocey Jackson is a former colleague of mine I learned so much from when she was leading our college internship program. She is now working at the board as their talent champion leading candidate sourcing for all four economic divisions. This year we have 39 full-time summer interns Anthony Spatola coordinated with the TA team and I cannot wait to meet them this May and feel their energy like I did with our Monetary Museum filled with coeds at this reception.

I ran into one of our summer 2022 college interns Joad Taha at the event. I love that he is a #learningenthusiast like me, and looks for opportunities to learn more!
I am looking forward to keeping the conversations post-event going as we explore all the ways we can support each other in our goals.

1 年The Capstone reception was an amazing opportunity to connect with everyone at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. To learn about their goals, culture, and programs. It was such a pleasure meeting Ms. Krista and discussing the numerous opportunities college students have to network and grow at the Fed, I left the event enthused to apply to their internships and become part of the team! I wish Ms. Krista success in her future projects as well.
