TU/e and HTCE join hands for even more cross-fertilization

TU/e and HTCE signed a Memorandum of Understanding to investigate how they can achieve even greater cross-fertilization and impact.

Among other things, they will look at how companies, students and researchers can become even better connected. In addition, the parties are considering a special support system for student teams and collaboration with The Gate to help aspiring entrepreneurs.

To facilitate all of this, the establishment of a dedicated TU/e hub on the HTCE is being explored.

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof pays a visit to Campus

Last month, we proudly welcomed Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof to High Tech Campus Eindhoven! The visit was part of a trip to Brainport Eindhoven to offer Mr. Schoof an impression of this area's unique high-tech ecosystem.

Leading the tour, CEO Otto van den Boogaard provided a peek into the workings and impact of Open Innovation and the process of bringing new technologies to market.

Three tech startups on Campus, CUbIQ Technologies, FSO Instruments and FononTech gave demos as part of the tour.

Sirius Medical secures €10M in scale-up funding

Great news for High Tech Campus resident Sirius Medical! The med tech company has secured €10M in scale-up funding in a funding round led by Invest-NL and Nextgen Ventures.?

Sirius Medical, a spin-out from The Netherlands Cancer Institute, is revolutionizing cancer care with their Pintuition technology, a localization system which easily and accurately locates tumors in breast cancer patients.

The funding will go towards enhancing their technology and extending its applications. Congrats on the exciting news, Sirius Medical team!

165+ Dutch ambassadors come together at High Tech Campus

As part of their an annual "return week," over 165 Dutch diplomats came to Campus for a deep dive into key technologies being developed in Brainport, from semiconductors to quantum tech.?

After visits to TU/e, Signify, the Dutch Design Foundation, and The Chocolate Factory Noordkade, ambassadors convened on Campus for a conference led by BHO Minister Reinette Klever and Eindhoven Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem.

We were certainly proud hosts to the ambassadors' conference on the smartest square kilometer in Europe, the heart of Dutch innovation!
