Hi all iam anitha form the department of BSC physician assistant 3rd year here to share my article about tuberculosis.

It is a lung disease it is caused by microbacterium tuberculosis.

People may experience:

Pain areas: in the chest

Pain circumstances: can occur while breathing

Cough: can be chronic or with blood

Whole body: fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, malaise, night sweats, or sweating

Also common: loss of muscle, phlegm, severe unintentional weight loss, shortness of breath, or swollen lymph nodes.

How do TB symptoms start?

Coughing up blood or mucus (sputum) is a sign of in TB of the lungs. Bone pain may mean that the bacteria have invaded your bones. These symptoms can also occur with other diseases, so it is important to see a healthcare provider and to let them find out if you have TB

.Can TB disease be cured?

Active, drug-sensitive TB disease is treated with a standard 6-month course of 4 antimicrobial drugs that are provided with information, supervision and support to the patient by a health worker or trained volunteer. The vast majority of TB cases can be cured when medicines are provided and taken properl.y
