The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is pleased to announce the elected candidates for the TTRA Board for the 2023-2024 term. The TTRA International Board of Directors extends its gratitude to all members who participated in the voting process, shaping the future of our association. We are excited to introduce the exceptional individuals who have demonstrated their qualifications and commitment to advancing TTRA's mission.
TTRA 2nd Vice President:
Lynne Coxwell ?has been elected as the 2nd Vice President. With nearly 16 years of experience in the tourism industry, Lynne, the Director of Research at the Louisiana Office of Tourism, has shown expertise in data analysis, travel trends, and industry relationships. Her extensive background in non-profit organizations positions her well to contribute to TTRA's objectives and address the evolving needs of our organization and industry.
TTRA Board of Directors:
Anna Blount ?from Longwoods International has been re-elected to serve another term on the TTRA Board of Directors. As Vice President of Research, Anna brings over 15 years of experience in market research and a deep understanding of visitation, resident sentiment, and brand assessment studies. Her dedication to driving positive change and leading the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee makes her an invaluable asset to the Board.

Whitney Knollenberg , Ph.D., from North Carolina State University's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, has been elected to the TTRA Board of Directors. Whitney's research focuses on sustainable tourism development, offering valuable insights into leadership, planning, and policy shaping. With a track record of securing grant funding and actively contributing to the field, she will significantly contribute to TTRA's mission and address industry challenges.
svetlana stepchenkova , Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Florida's Department of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management, will complete Lynne Coxwell's term on the TTRA Board of Directors. Svetlana's expertise in marketing communications, branding, and positive image building, particularly in challenging bilateral relations, will enrich the Board. With numerous publications and extensive involvement in TTRA, including co-chairing the Academic Program Committee, Svetlana's contributions to the field will support the association's mission.
