TTBS celebrates World Creativity and Innovation Day
The United Nations designated 21 April as World Creativity and Innovation Day to raise the awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. This day serves to acknowledge and appreciate contributions posed by individuals and organisations in promoting creativity and innovation.
Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) is raising greater awareness of a suite of International Standards for Innovation Management. This is especially important since a company’s ability to innovate represents a major factor in its sustainable growth and long-term survival.
TTBS has also established a National Mirror Committee for Innovation Management, comprising of national experts that provide inputs into the development of standards and standards related documents.
The national experts are from the following organizations: CARIRI, NIHERST, Ministry of Planning and Development, UWI, TTMA, TTCIC, TTCSI, EUROCHAM TT, Innovation Association of TT, ExporTT, MIC, National Flour Mills Limited, University of The Southern Caribbean and St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (STACIE).
