? Australian break dancer Rachael Gunn (Raygun) said she is retiring from competitive breaking after the torrent of negative comments following her Olympic performance, where she lost her three battles by 180-0.?

? The bell rung by the track & field winners at the Stade de France during Paris 2024 was handed over to the Notre Dame cathedral, where it will replace a bell destroyed during the 2019 fire. The cathedral is scheduled to re-open on 8 December.?

Russia: At a meeting of the executive committee of the Russian Olympic Committee, President Stanislav Pozdnyakov agreed to step down on 13 November. A new President, expected to be replaced with Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev, with the ROC election scheduled for 13 December.

Athletics: A French high court decided that Papa Massata Diack of Senegal, convicted of corruption and embezzlement for actions when he was a marketing consultant for the IAAF (World Athletics) must be re-tried. Diack is in Senegal and is unlikely to leave; he never appeared during his trial.?

Canoe-Kayak: The International Canoe Federation voted to move its headquarters from Lausanne to Budapest, as Hungary is one of the leading powers in the sport.?

Ice Hockey: The U.S. women opened the 2024-25 Rivalry Series with Canada by taking a 5-0 lead in the first period and cruising to a 7-2 win.?

Nordic Combined: A grant from the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) will allow Nordic Combined USA to continue with a co-training program with Norway. After a cut in funding, Nordic Combined USA has now raised about 60% of its budget for the 2024-25 season.

Swimming: World Aquatics will offer $2.16 million in prize money for December’s World 25 m (short course) Championships, the same as in 2022, but a third less than in 2021.? ?
