The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited (TSREDCO) has announced the empanelment of Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) vendors for the development of grid-connected solar power plants. The project involves the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and remote monitoring system of 1 MW solar power plants at various locations across Telangana. The cumulative capacity of the project is set at 1000 MW, with each plant having a capacity of 1 MW.

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commissionê(Cerc) has issued an order regarding a petition by Bhadla-III Power Transmission Limited, a subsidiary of the Power Grid Corporation of India. This petition seeks approval for a transmission license under the Electricity Act, 2003, and related regulations to develop additional transmission infrastructure. The project aims to evacuate power from the Bhadla-III Power Station as part of the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone Phase-III scheme, targeting a capacity of 20 GW.
