Trying something new.

Storytelling is my jam. It's why I'm in marketing. It's why documentaries are my favorite films to watch (with the hopes that I can start shooting my own one day).

Storytelling is a big part of why I love music scores for film so much.

In early 2021, I decided to try something knew....

During COVID I got together with Joe Marini. Joe is well known in local Santa Cruz circles as one of the owners of a 100+ year old candy business, but most folks don't know about the other side of Joe and his passion for the outdoors, hunting, foraging and of course eating. My good friend Timerie Gordon introduced us and the conversations about Joe's desire to try doing a show about California outdoors and my desire to try something new with my camera actually turned into a thing....and opportunity to test combining our passions to create one single output that might entertain and inspire.

I've never created a show or series of any kind in my entire life but I know how to tell a good story and I understand from a production standpoint all the pieces and parts.

We shot footage for 3 episodes so far but this is the only one I've edited and turned into a finished product.
