Are you open minded?
Kara Churchill
I Coach clients virtually and in-person focusing on their nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness. I also help women build their own successful businesses.
Recenlty I ventured out of my comfort zone
One of my contacts on LinkedIn requested to interview me for a new book she's writing.
The focus topic was the disconnect between a client and Coach.
What is the missing link between the two individuals and why do some Coaches connect better than others?
In my either years of Coaching I believe there are two reason for the disconnect.
The first one is expectations. Does the client really know how the Coach will benefit them and if there is a cost involved?
Once a conversation takes place between the two parties, to sort out their arrangements and misunderstandings, wonderful things can happen and the trust and relationship will grow.
The interviewer also asked me this powerful question:
"If you could wave your magic wand in your profession what you change?"
My response:
"I believe some people has misconceptions about network marketing companies.
My wish is that people would become more open-minded about it.
The business opportunity can fill your life in so many ways in regards to personal development, community, financial freedom, and a sense of purpose.
Who doesn't want all of those things in their life?
All I ask is that people give me a chance to talk about my experience and how Coaching has changed my life.
I may operate my business very differently from someone else you have met in the network marketing business. It's possible they came across as too pushy or more into sales than into what you had to say. That's not my style.
I consider myself to authentic and genuine and if someone says this opportunity is not for them I hope I can do my best to move on and wish them well."
