Do you have the fear of being nothing, achieving nothing and becoming nothing? Then it should be way bigger than the fear of making mistakes. “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” ~ George Bernard Shaw. Here are some reasons why not making mistakes is in fact the biggest mistake you could ever make.
Mistakes help you discover who you truly are. With every mistake that we make we discover more and more about ourselves, about who we are, about our limits, about our capabilities, about what we can and cannot do. They help us be more compassionate and more tolerant with ourselves and others.
Mistakes often teach you valuable life lessons. By making mistakes you will in fact learn valuable life lessons and you will become a happy learner. There is so much we can all learn from our mistakes, and the moment we see them as lessons rather than mistakes, we will no longer have this crazy fear of encountering them along the journey.
Mistakes teach you how to forgive. One of the greatest lesson you will learn from making mistakes is forgiveness. With every mistake that you’ll make, you will learn how important it is to forgive yourself and many of the people around you. You will understand that you are not perfect and that perfection doesn’t really exist, only our intentions of doing our best. And who wants to be perfect anyways? Perfection leaves no room for improvement.
Mistakes help you growth and evolve. If you don’t make mistakes how can you expect to grow and to evolve as a human being? How many of us get stuck because they allow the fear of making mistakes to paralyze them? How can we expect to learn anything new if we don’t allow ourselves to make mistakes?
Why are yo not doing your best is taking the action because you love it, not because you are expecting a reward. Most people do the exact opposite. They only take action when they expect a reward. And then they not enjoy the action and that is the reason why they don't do their best. May be we are all the human and human makes the mistake it's common to all, mistakes happen but it never mean to say die!
It is always good to learn and to gain experience. To know the meaning of life and to find the answers to all those questions. To succeed in life and to be prepared for anything life throws at us. To be the best of best and become worthy of success. From each mistake we learn to be a better person. When we are making the mistake we might not realize, but when we look back at our youth we think “Man, I was so stupid back than.” Mistakes are a natural part of life. There can’t be a single person on Earth that hasn’t made a mistake. A small one or a big one…doesn’t matter. We can’t be completely mistake-free.
What are those mistakes we keep making in our lives? Not pursuing good education, not taking good care of our health and not choosing a job or profession which we are passionate about or which makes us fulfilled or happy. Or not maintaining good balance between work and life and not being resilient in life and giving up easily when we encounter problems and not learning something new everyday from life.
Even not having a habit of reading. As they say, there is no difference between an illiterate person and a person who can read but chooses not to do it and not improving ourselves in some way everyday; not sharpening our skills, or not spending our money wisely and smartly and not investing from as early in life as possible.
Moreover, not helping others in whatever we can, whenever we can - within our means, capabilities and circumstances and not being self aware of our strengths and opportunities, also not being good listeners and not spending time wisely or not spending enough time in nature and not having some hobbies that keep our lives interesting and not being grateful for what we have and being financial dependent on others and also not nurturing good relationships with people around us and finally not consciously choosing to be happy every day ! Cheers!
