The Production Manager leads the operations of all production areas to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. To maximize productivity plans and establishes work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences.?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the resources on all production shifts to achieve the expected outcome for scheduled production.
- Partners with the Plant Manager to set the production standards, control, and measures of operation.
- Partners with Warehouse Manager to ensure all resources, including human and raw materials, are available
- Reviews inventory, production schedules, planning schedules,s and site capacity for potential obstacles to meeting customer demands Monitors and in some circumstances develops or implements, production tracking control systems
- ?Recommend and coordinate capital expenditure projects as required
- Manage and coordinate all customer complaints
- Encourage and promote the culture of cooperation and teamwork among the Production team.
- To develop the Production supervisors and Team Leads into a cohesive unit that understands the?
- importance of all policies, work instructions, and procedures.
- To enforce all company policies, guidelines and programs fairly and equitably.
- To continuously analyze daily performance, yields, staffing, and downtime in order to maximize response time to production changes, utilize resources effectively and reduce loss to the company.
- To work with the Quality Assurance Manager to set the quality goals and expectations for the Production Team's contribution of packaging products in the best interest of the consumer and our customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree?
- Position Exp: 3-5 Years
- Industry Exp: 5-7 Years
- Sup. Exp: 5+ Years
- Lean Certification: Preferred, not required
- Multi-Lingual: Preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
- The physical ability to stand and or walk frequently
- The physical ability to occasionally bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat
- The physical ability to use both hands for frequent grasping and occasional fine manipulation and fingering
- The physical ability to frequently carry up to 50 pounds of weight over distances of up to 600 feet
- The physical ability to frequently lift 50 pounds of weight from the floor to above the shoulders.
- On rare occasions, weighs more than 50 pounds may need to be lifted between the floor and shoulders.
- The physical ability to occasionally push various items up to 75 pounds at distances of up to 5.’
- The physical ability to occasionally pull various items up to 75 pounds at distances of up to 35.’
- The physical ability to tolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, dust masks, safety belts, and safety shoes continuously
- The physical ability to stand and/or walk a minimum of 75% of the shift
- The visual ability to identify small components at close range or other objects at a distance
- The ability to listen closely to specific sounds to assist in determining potential malfunction

TRAVEL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- This position may require travel from time to time to conduct Truvant business. Modes of?
- transportation could include but are not limited to automobiles (personal or rental), airlines, trains, or other?
- public transportation. The employee will be required to file an expense report for each trip taken on?
- Truvant’s behalf. The employee will be reimbursed for Truvant-approved travel-related expenses. Cash?
- advances or a Truvant credit card for unapproved purchases will be billable to the employee.
- When traveling on Truvant business, the employee is expected to maintain a professional appearance and?
- demeanor.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 48 – 55 hours. Extended hours and weekends required as needed
