Truths Uttered In Whispers....

If you belong to a trading group, what you need above all else, is honesty from your master traders as to how to really make money. But 99 times out of 100 you won't get it. Why? Because it's so public and they don't trust you that much yet. These truths are uttered in whispers. People are afraid of: Being reported, exposed, sued, compliance. And here's the weird part....we're not talking about anything illegal either....it's primarily simple human preoccupation. Therefore, they water down their message to common mediocrity...by telling you how important it is to: journal all your entries, proper positioning, proper risk/reward ratios, letting your winners run...I've heard it all. I've also heard the equivalent from people like Zig Zigler (RIP) in sales. But these generalized or ambiguous truths, don't tell you specifically how to really (in sales for example), close the sale, how to really talk to someone on the phone, how to masterfully use intonation, tonality, how to bring yourself into a point of peak state management. It's very similar in trading. Everyone seems to have "their approach", but when asked publicly, they regress to the mean of mediocrity. Ok. I get it. But I won't leave you empty-handed either. When I started making money in trading was when I started focusing almost entirely on the actual execution of the trade.
