TRUTH…Everything Happens for a Reason
Unfortunately, we may never know the reasons things happen, especially bad things. Instead of asking yourself, “Why me”? start asking, “What can I learn from this”? We are not in control of everything that happens in our lives, but we are in control of how we react to them.
Both the good and the bad are part of life but remember, nothing lasts forever, not even life. The people we meet, our relationships, our jobs, where we live, the things we stress about, and the situations we get into that we feel are hopeless. It’s all temporary. When you come to realize this, you may just enjoy life more.
Things can go from bad to good or good to bad in the blink of an eye. The company you work for could close, your house could burn down, you could win the lottery and find the job of your dreams. Anything can happen in a split second. Don’t take things for granted or think the bad is your new reality.
The philosopher Aristotle explains it perfectly. In his quest to discover the true meaning of life, he suggested there were two constants in life: First, the universe is constantly changing and evolving. What it is today is never the same tomorrow.

Second, he referred to?entelechy,?which is “that which turns potential into reality.” He believed that?everything happening to you today has a purpose?because it turns you into the person you are becoming.
Another perspective is that we believe this as a means of coping with the realities and unchangeable actions of life. When people must cope with difficult situations in their lives, they sometimes reassure themselves by saying that everything happens for a reason. For some people, thinking this way makes it easier to deal with relationship problems, financial crises, disease, death, and even natural disasters such as earthquakes.
No matter what your perspective might be, what you learn from life is the key. Many of us just bounce from one circumstance to another with little thought to how it has changed us for either the good or bad. We are, however, impacted in some way by every experience. This is what Aristotle referred to as evolution.
It is how we react, how we think about things and change as a result that makes us human. We can control how we think, and we can control our attitudes. One word, one thought, one deliberate action can make all the difference in our life experience.
