Hi friend,
In the past few months, I’ve known 4 people who lost complete access to their social media accounts.
I’m talking a completely removed, banned and never to return type of situation.
And ya’ll… this is frightening! We are at the whims of these social media platforms and the wrong step can get allll of our hard work taken away.
It’s why I always talk about using social media as a marketing tool. It’s a first step and our goal as brands and businesses is to move our audiences to the next step.
Whether that be email, sms, or visiting in person… I HIGHLY recommend that you show your audience how to take your relationship deeper.
Listen, I love social media. It’s been a powerful way for me to meet someone like you even know I’m sitting in my small town in Canada. Seriously, love it.
And, and, and…. I’m glad we can hang out in other ways as well. Email is preferred for me.
I don’t mean to share this message to scare anyone away from social… just wanted to be real with you about what could happen.
Oh and make sure you have two-factor authentication turned on and a phone number attached to your accounts. If possible, add someone you trust as an admin.
