The truth is... I don't know whats going to work

I speak to Recruitment and Search Firm Owners from all over the world almost on a daily basis…

And although I enjoy it for the most part…

One of the downsides is, I get asked the same questions over and over again by Recruitment and Search Firm Owners, all of whom seem to think they're the only ones in the world with this particular concern...

To me, it's just a twist on the statement "but my business is different"; at least, that's the sentiment I imagine I'm picking up.

It usually goes like this:

"so... if I run an ad/send regular emails/try online video/run naked through the town centre... what's going to happen? Because I'm not sure anyone in my industry is doing this".

And... I have no idea.

Well, I have an idea, based on loads of experience... but in truth I don't know for certain. And neither does anyone else (if they say they do, they’re lying).

For all I know your entire sector, by some freak of statistics, comprise homicidal maniacs who are going to hunt you down and eat your children because they don't like getting emails from you.

It's a possibility...

But it's highly unlikely.

What's most likely to happen is one or more of these things is going to start making you more money...

So then you can KEEP DOING IT and then TRY SOMETHING ELSE.

The best answer I can give in all these cases is... just give it a go.

Nothing can ever be perfect, 80% of the oomph will come from 20% of the elbow-grease, and good enough is good enough.

In other words...

1. Pick something.
2. Do it.
3. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Speak to you soon,

Until then,

Take care, take action and be relentless...
