Agentic AI marks a significant leap beyond current forms of AI that are largely task-oriented or designed to support human decision-making. Agentic AI is envisioned to have autonomy, the ability to take action on its own, within defined "ethical parameters". As these system grow, we need challenge how humans will engage and evolve together.?

Just as AI begins to "think" and "act" more independently, we must develop the mental agility, emotional intelligence, and moral discernment necessary to navigate this brave new world. Agentic AI will require us to engage in ethical conversations that go beyond mere programming. It will require us to address questions of consciousness, responsibility, and self-awareness.?

As we approach 2025, now (and I start my annual review Thanksgiving week) is the perfect time to engage in self-reflection and create a structured, actionable plan that aligns personal growth with the opportunities/challenges AI presents. Think of your role within Agentic AI not as a passive witness, but as a collaborator. It should be a landscape we continuously groom. Our ability to adapt and lead through an innovation mindset, will require intentional development, IMHO of four key areas:

Personal Development: Conscious leadership starts with self-awareness. In 2025, assess your core values, motivations, and purpose. Use mindfulness and meditation to align your actions with these values, enabling clearer decisions grounded in truth.

Relational Skills: As Agentic AI reshapes interactions, it’s crucial to maintain authentic, empathetic relationships. Strengthen your empathic innovation by listening, understanding, and fostering trust through coaching and team-building.?

Strategic Thinking: With AI's growing influence, strategic thinking goes beyond ones and zeros, it involves anticipating trends, understanding their ethical implications, and positioning for future change. Prioritize problem solving and innovation through brainstorming and creative thinking sessions with your peers, family, kids, etc…...?

4. Intuitive Practice: Hawkins emphasized intuition in discerning truth. In 2025, cultivate a strong intuitive practice to navigate how you will discover and may implement AI’s complexities in your personal and work life. It could be as simple as just starting to use a LLM to enhance a old food recipe. Set daily time for breath-work, meditation, and reflection to sharpen your inner you and build a design guide around ethical decision-making.

Building a XX-Day Action Plan for 2025: So, how do we turn these concepts into concrete actions and build a plan around your long-term goals and also integrates the development of AI-conscious leadership?

Some ideas to help you get started:

?Set Clear Priorities:?Define your key areas of focus. Simple as it reads, add complex vision around questions like: Is developing my emotional intelligence right for this moment? How do I Improve your strategic thinking and when? Or perhaps, who can I refine my ability to innovate? Timing and frequency matter.?

Create Time for Deep Work: Schedule your right time every day for deep, uninterrupted focus, whether for meditation, problem-solving, creative idea generation or just "ringing out the mental sponge". This space will give you the mental clarity needed to integrate new insights from AI into your personal and professional development.

Develop New Skills: Prioritize learning in areas like AI ethics, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Seek out courses or resources that can help you build a deeper understanding of Agentic AI and its ethical implications.

Track Your Emotional Growth: Set measurable emotional skills goals. Practice empathy in professional relationships or how well you manage stress in challenging situations.

Revisit and Reflect: At the end of, say 3 months, revisit your plan. Have you aligned with your higher values? How well did you integrate self-reflection into your work routine? This reflective process will help you adjust and continue evolving in the direction of conscious, ethical leadership in the age of AI.
