The Truth About Being a Female Business Owner

There are a lot of myths that circle around about what it means to be a business owner. The myths become even more ridiculous when you add the word female in front of it all.?

Let’s explore some of these myths, shall we??

1. Female business owners have to choose either their business or their family. Myth! I know plenty of female business owners, myself included, that can have both an amazingly fulfilling career and a wonderful family as well as supportive partners.?
2. Female business owners will never reach the same success levels as men. MYTH! While our road might have a few extra challenges along the way there is nothing capping your success to less than that of any man in business. The real trick with this one is learning to do things differently. A lot of the business “how to’s” were created by men and this year I really want to challenge what your business looks like to you.?
3. In order to reach success in business women must hustle 24/7 and never take breathing room. THE WORST MYTH!?

Why is this myth the worst??

Because being 100% in your business all the time is actually how you plateau your business. It’s how you begin resenting everything you’ve worked for and it turns your business into shackles around your ankles.

So what is the reality of being a female business owner?
