The TRUTH Behind the Great Resignation

?? Only for those destined for more: Spiritual guidance and empowerment for souls who have been undervalued personally and professionally; guiding them towards higher spiritual calling and awakening their true potential.
Unless you live in a professional closet, we’ve all heard of the “great resignation”, spurred on by the upheaval of the pandemic.?For those who don’t know, or don’t know what it all entails, let me elaborate.?The great resignation, as it’s been dubbed, is just that; a mass exodus of employees from all across the US and all different industries, but particularly blue collar positions. And it shows no signs of stopping according to Yahoo!Finance, which reported 4.3 million resignations in the month of February. ?
What is more curious than anything, is why it’s happening.?Analysist and researchers site various reasons, but they’re not really reasons at all, merely symptoms of a much deeper issue.
We know people are burned out, we know that employees want a better work-life balance, we know that work culture is shifting, but we don’t know why.
But I know why.
When everyone got sent home on a proverbial “time-out”, they did what you’re suppose to do in a time out; think about what you’ve done. And so everyone did.
A lot of people came back with the answer, “what HAVE I done?”, with the underlying theme of “nothing that makes me happy”.
And so began the quest of millions of people looking to take their power back. People want to be masters of their own lives.?They want to dictate their own opportunities, their own use of time, and most importantly, their own value.?However, the 9-5 mentality doesn’t allow for that kind of thinking.?We are taught to allow others in “higher positions” to dictate whether we are worthy and of enough value to make a living wage, or of a promotional opportunity, or even when we can take a vacation.?Do you know how many employee hand books state “vacations will be approved if time is available and they don’t interfere with company business”???
The short and the long of it, is people want to live their lives, and not be a servant making someone else rich.

People want autonomy over their time.
People want to have opportunities to grow into something greater than just their title.
People want to feel valued and determine their own self-worth.
?
People want a NEW work culture that doesn’t revolve so much around…well…work.
