TRUSTS & FOUNDATIONS MANAGER | CHATSWORTH HOUSE TRUST

With Lord Burlington and his family taking the helm at Chatsworth and the appointment of Jane Marriott in the new role of Director of the Chatsworth House Trust, this role would see you supporting our ambition to present Chatsworth as a place with charity at its heart and for the benefit of everyone.

Over the past two years, the Chatsworth House Trust has gained real momentum with our grant fundraising, securing funding from Arts Council England for our arts and cultural programme and development phase funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund to restore the nationally important 18th century Cascade in the garden (total project costs ￡7.5m).

A key part of this role will be to write the Delivery Phase Application to the NHLF and to support with the funding strategy to secure the ￡2.5m of match funding required.

Building on this success, the Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) will help to drive forward our funding strategy, building strong relationships with current and future funders as we work to evidence our commitment to public benefit.

We are looking for someone with excellent writing and research skills. An analytical thinker who clearly understands how to shape and draft applications for funding in a compelling manner and who can identify and prioritise appropriate funding opportunities for both capital and revenue projects.

Chatsworth House Trust is an independent charity dedicated to the preservation of Chatsworth House, the art collection, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone.

The Development Department is responsible for securing income from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations, public bodies and individuals.

Currently bringing in circa ￡1million a year in fundraised income, we have strong growth targets across all income areas and are looking to build our team to help realise these ambitions.?
