I was nerding out recently and looking at our historical timeline, from the Stone Age to the Digital Age. The irony is that I am looking at our human timeline during a period of history when we are losing time to scrolling through the timelines on social media platforms. Weird.

But despite their pervasiveness, I'm arguing why your personal network is more reliable than the algorithms that overwhelm our online lives.
