Waiting can be hard, especially when it feels like nothing is changing. But today, be encouraged: your season is coming! Just as farmers do not see their harvest immediately after planting, your answered prayer may take time. But at the right moment, God will bring His promises to pass. Keep standing, keep believing, and do not give up!
Anna had been praying for a child for years. Each doctor’s visit brought more disappointment, and every passing year made her wonder if God had forgotten her. But instead of giving up, she held on to faith. She surrounded herself with people who encouraged her and filled her heart with God's promises. One morning, when she least expected it, she received the news—she was finally pregnant. The joy she experienced was beyond words. The years of waiting made the blessing even more beautiful. Looking back, she realized that God’s timing was perfect.
You may not be waiting for a child, but whatever it is, trust that God’s timing is perfect for you too.
In the book of 2 Kings 7, we read about four lepers sitting at the city gate during a time of severe famine. The city was surrounded by the enemy, and food was scarce. They faced a difficult decision: stay where they were and die or take a risk and move forward. They chose to step out in faith, and as they walked toward the enemy’s camp, God caused their enemies to hear the sound of a mighty army. The enemy fled in fear, leaving behind food, silver, and gold. What seemed like an impossible situation turned into a miraculous breakthrough because they moved in faith.
Like these four men, you may feel stuck. But if you keep moving forward in faith, trusting God’s timing, you will see your breakthrough at the right moment.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your timing is perfect. Even when I don’t see the answer right away, I choose to trust You. Help me to remain steadfast in faith, to keep believing, and to continue doing good. Strengthen my heart so that I do not grow weary while waiting. Let my trust in You be unwavering, and may my heart be filled with peace knowing that my harvest is on the way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
