We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our board of trustees.
Stand Against Violence was set up following the unprovoked attack and murder of a young man, Lloyd Fouracre, on the eve of his 18th birthday.
The charity was founded by Lloyd's brother Adam and has grown from a local Taunton charity to an organisation that covers the South West and beyond.
The aim is to prevent and reduce violence through educational workshops and resources and raise awareness for the consequences of violence. An evaluation conducted by the Centre for Public Health has shown positive results from our work which pushes us to continue forward and reach more young people.

9 年As business people we build a future on innovation. What Stand Against Violence (SAV) do is educate the future generation so they can pick up the mantle and take us on a journey to bigger and better things. By 2020 the millennial generation will make up 75% of the workforce. Imagine if that workforce had all gone through a series of workshops run by SAV - you would have a work force that understood consequences and a massive step to reduce work place bullying. As a Trustee of SAV I take pride in knowing that I am influence the next-next generation.
