Trust Your Culture

Trust Your Culture

"If there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do you no harm". This quote means more to me now than when I first heard it orated from one of my man, many mentors. Back then I heard it, but the message seemed to slip through the cracks of my mind… that slippery slope of self-doubt, ignorance and non-assuredness. Today it is a different story. A few years later, hundred more books consumed and a new mantra created, now I think differently. This day, part of my new culture is "trust in yourself so you can trust others". This principle is one of 7 I hold true to keep me on the right path. The question is where does trust in one self- reside and how does any common man gain this trust? If I grow from a lack of belief to fulfilling a sense of purpose in such a short time, be it 2 years or a second even, how could this have come to pass at all? The answer seems so clear now, but there was a time when the answer didn't exist. Deep, deep in one’s consciousness a potentiality lies. It is a state of enlightenment and feeling of oneness with self and all parts being a "whole". Angrily defending this purposeful trust is the "old brain". Science calls it "instincts" built in through means we label as natural selection to keep "us" safe. Whatever that means… today I call it fulfillment "propellant". An anti-trust mechanism set up to "pre-judge" one another. To separate the whole "into" parts. If only there was a solution? Truth is, there is. Some call it wisdom, I label it awareness and there are more ways than one to attain it. To find a real-life example we must look back. Two years ago, when I first hear that quote "if there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do us no harm". Back then I was different both consciously, materialistically, confidently and even on a cellular level. Scientists have proven this to be, every 7 years we are in new form and our bodies are completely "new". The outer shell is, but a means to a physical end, but the spirit or memories remain. As time passes we as a society have come to scientific agreement and yet so much of this is blurred in ignorance. Well, what if this was correct, but false simultaneously? What if we were a spirit in a body instead of a body with spirit? For that exact philosophical questioning comes to the answer to the culture of trust. What I found when complete and total self-development was thrust into action, new beliefs forms and convictions were enabled, I had truly changed. I changed in a conscious way, an energy emitted on a different frequency. Less can be seen from the outside observance of this "transformation than that of the wind, but like the wind it is true, it is real. With enlightenment came confidence, confidence begot competence and so on and forever. Trusting in myself no matter the causes against me has led to trusting in others and now more than ever before that same quote has a deeper and more profound message. "When there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do me no harm" the enemy being this ancestral brain. This evolutionary pedestal of linear growth. A necessity and a curse a blessing and an inner evil. The only surefire way to control it, rise above the instincts, the prejudices the ignorance, the hatred the lack of love is to grow. A cognitive choice to step into ones truly exponential abilities. Growth brought upon by innate curiosity, fueled by an unescapable yearning to read, consume, listen to understand and always become a better spirit. Trusting one’s culture is about growing to a level of self-actualization beyond matter, unlike the physical realm. This is a heightened state of beingness above superficiality, race, religion or any "right" cultural philosophy and an inner love they radiates outwardly from within that literally will change your world. Want to change the world? Change yourself first, trust starts with honesty and it's time to be honest in the mirror; what enemy are you harboring within?
