Trust for the Public Lands Event
The TPL and Columbia Open Space Committee are collaborating with the Columbia, Hebron, and Lebanon communities to preserve Wells Woods, unlock an EIGHT MILE network of trails, and link Mono Pond State Park with the Air Line State Park Trail (50 mile linear trail through multiple towns).
JOIN the conversation about the recreational, economic, and community benefits of parks and trails while protecting ecologically important landscapes.
This is a really worthwhile initiative, something from which everyone in the region--not just those three towns--benefit.
JOIN THE TRUST AND THE COLUMBIA OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE AT HEARTSTONE FARM & WINERY FOR A PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF THIS IMPORTANT INITIATIVE.
HEARTSTSONE FARM & WINERY, 468 CONNECTICUT ROUTE 87, COLUMBIA, CT.

5 年My idea? ? ?drop the parking lots down one floor and intall greenspace in its place - it improves property values and town quality of life and appearance and it just made me smile to see a community garden including the grapes that came to America with the Pilgrims. ? When I was a teen, they yelled the icon song, "Take Paradise, put in a parking lot" ....we CAN fix that one and take parking lots and put in a paradise. ?What do you think?
