Trust the Process
Stephanie B.
Sr. Manager Consultant | Readiness and Associate Experience at Capital One
3 years ago, when I moved back home, My plans where to eventually move to Houston and to get into my field of study and to be a trainer. My entire life I've had a love for motivating, inspiring, and bringing the best out of people. So that's what I wanted to do.
I started on a journey with Capital One 2 years ago. I went from being a Relationship Banker, to a Multi-Branch Banker to here recently being promoted to a Market Manager in Northeast Dallas.
Last Friday I spent a few hours at my new location, and I immediately asked myself "Stephanie what did you get yourself into?" I started feeling overwhelmed, worried, and started to doubt my decision. On Sunday I attended church with my sister, and the Pastor said "Where you are right now is because of God, and that you will win because the victory belongs to Him." And immediately I realized "I didn't get myself into anything." But rather God has blessed me with this opportunity for his glory and not mine. It's not because I have the most experience, the best ideas, a degree in Finance, or because I've done anything special.
I said all that to say this, God sees exactly where you are, and knows exactly where you can be, BUT you have to trust Him and the process. Stop trying to work using your own efforts and start allowing Him to put people, places, and opportunities in front of you that you never thought were possible. This is a new chapter for me, and I'm excited because I'm only 28 and I'm just getting started!
To my NE Texas peeps! I love y'all! And I'm glad every single one of you have been apart of my journey
