Trust is a Must!

Cold Calls - Personal communication is the only way to ensure your message is being effectively communicated
My sales experience began 20 years ago when I started selling timeshares. Unlike the negative reputation often associated with timeshare salespersons and telemarketers, my approach was different. I worked in-house, where I warmly welcomed new owners with a carnation and a bottle of champagne, ensuring a seamless check-in process. Subsequently, I would invite them to the clubhouse for a complimentary breakfast, providing an opportunity to discuss their ownership. Surprisingly, many of them would express their willingness to attend only if I agreed to assist them in selling their timeshare. Naturally, I accepted their request and supported them until their appointment with me. Throughout this entire process, my main focus was on fostering trust, even though we were initially complete strangers.
According to Chayanne, the professional development coach at Strategic Calls, "Establishing trust in a relationship takes time, and the Jump-start process allows for gradual development." Trust is a vital element when it comes to making commitments. Whether it involves agreeing to a demo or scheduling an appointment, trust is a must! In my current role at Strategic Calls, I have learned to embrace the process of building trust with my leads through phone calls and emails over a three-day cadence. I approach each interaction with great care, investing time in preparing them and building rapport, with the ultimate goal of nurturing trust that paves the way for success for all parties involved. Rather than considering myself a salesperson or telemarketer, I see myself as someone who helps people regain confidence in trusting strangers because I genuinely prioritize their best interests.
