TRUST IT, THEN LET IT FLY.

TRUST IT, THEN LET IT FLY.

Hey Team...

Have you ever felt like you are not ready yet?

You have been doing your thing for a good amount of time, but you still feel like you have so much more to do, to learn, to achieve before you can announce yourself as ready enough.

Prepared enough?

At times, good enough?

I was doing an interview yesterday, and we were talking about this very topic.

The topic of "knowing what to do" and being "ready enough".... and how so many feel like they are just not there.

I started by telling a story about one of my clients, who is currently building his 5th billion dollar company-- and how he is not sure if he is ready enough.

He wasn't sure if he was ready enough when he was building his first one.

His second, his third, fourth, and now fifth.

What does ready enough even mean?

By who's standards are we being judged?

I will tell you this, when I first started coaching with the Yankees at 19 years of age, I certainly was not ready enough or qualified enough by my standards, or even by my formal education, but I was ready because of my willingness.

??My willingness to put myself out there.

??My willingness to fail.

??My willingness to show my imperfections.

??My willingness to take a risk in all senses of the word.

??My willingness to go and work against the grain and typical path that many are "supposed" to take.

You see, all this "supposed to" stuff is really just crap.

There is no supposed to.

We are all a little bit scared... sometimes a bit more than others.

It is OK.

It is normal.

I have seen it in top Athletes, Coaches, CEOs, Executives, and Finance Titans.. all scared of something....

Remember this: There is no definition of ready enough.

But what there is, is trusting yourself.

Trusting your gut.

Being a first responder and having the courage to run into the situation that most would run away from due to fear.

That is not you.

I want you to take a risk this week.

I want you to dive in and go after something you are passionate about.

Take the risk.

One of my clients put it like this yesterday during our call:

Practice enough to know and trust your stuff. Then, let go and embrace the performance through doing.

Brilliant.

Get competent and become great over time through the repetition of playing and being in the game.

DAY 1 will be your least qualified day.. but over time, you will become great.

DAY 2 you will be more qualified than day 1. Get it?

I want this for you.

I want to Coach you to make an impact.

I believe you have the skills, the tools, the guts to get what you want, build what you want, do what you want.

Lead yourself with fearlessness and put yourself out there.

You are ready enough.

Let's GO!
