Are you our UWErtalented Project Manager? UWEs Umwelt - The biggest modern art collection in the world in 100 months (hopefully) .

We are bringing the most talented artists from all over the world in the most surreal and amazing building in Berlin together to create the largest art collection of contemporary art.  With UWEs ART UMWELT we have a big vision and together with YOU we want to make it happen: We want to make this world a more beautiful and artistic place.

Therefore we are hiring an "UWErtalented" project manager!

YOU ARE (a Swiss Army Knife)

• MAXI-talented and a skyrocket project manager.
• Hard worker and intrinsically motivated to "uwerdeliver" every day.
• Art savvy and organization master (of arts).
• Background in arts / management / communication
• Experience and deep knowledge in the art world.
• Capable of working with an international team of art lovers and the hottest artists in town to scale up the biggest art collection.
• Hands on, pragmatic, and precise but don’t get lost in details.
• Fluent in German and English, other exotic languages are highly welcomed.
• Fast thinker, a true self learner, extremely motivated, crazy and passionate enough to work with us.
• Emotionally intelligent, but know how to create an excel spreadsheet and a pivot table.
• Organize artist dinners and show us you are a great host.
• Represent UWE at art fairs and social gatherings in the Berlin art scene.
• Deal with several stakeholders at the same time and multitask (from operations  and communication to strategy).
• Work directly with the founders.
• Entrepreneurial thinker.
• Tech savvy.
• Advantage: You have passed the door at Berghain not only once.

Where: Berlin, Germany

First Application deadline: Wednesday 16th November 2016 - we had 10 really good applicants - but lots of people have been writing to extend and will run a PeerPilot process with this fantastic group.

Second Application deadline: Wednesday 23rd November 2016 - we are doing more Social Media (get all hippocorn network to repost and maybe buy a bit of FB advertising (500€ incl campaign via www.hippomedia.co )

Expected hours of work: A minimum of 20 hours weekly. It will soon become more.

Remote: You will have your office at Funkhaus (but if you want to work in your favorite wifebeater t-shirt from home, we don't mind!)

What happens from here

What will happen now is that you will be contacted to complete a business case through PeerPilot. On PeerPilot we will be available to screen and assess all of the candidates and select our soon-to-be Project Manager.

We are going live with the business case on Wednesday, November 16th 2016 at 20.00h.

This will (and must) be fun.
