Trump and the World
Berlin - Washington, 012025
Just one week after the election, Donald Trump announced his choice for ambassador to Israel – a sign of how important the issue is to him and the direction in which it should go. Mike Huckabee, 69, a former Baptist pastor and ex-governor of Arkansas, is a staunchly pro-Israel candidate. He justifies this with the Bible. He denies that there could be such a thing as a Palestinian identity, and therefore a two-state solution is out of the question for him.
This is a clear break with Joe Biden's policy. In future, the United States will be represented at the United Nations by New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, 40. In terms of foreign policy, she has so far only attracted attention for her vocal support of Israel. At a hearing in the House of Representatives, she rightly attacked the presidents of several major US universities for their handling of pro-Gaza protests. However, her aggressive defence of Trump during the first impeachment proceedings is likely to have been more important for her rise in the UN. Pete Hegseth, 44, the future defence minister, previously known as a presenter at Fox News, is, like Mike Huckabee, ideologically rooted in the Christian nationalist camp.
A true fighter for Western civilisation and freedom in today's world. He will make it very clear to the Europeans, and especially to us Germans, that we must become more involved in NATO and that the Germans must take on a leading role in Europe. Here, too, he represents the right approach.
Marco Rubio, the future US Secretary of State, is a traditionalist. The senator from Florida is not only loyal to Trump, but – after years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee – also qualified. Rubio's focus is likely to be on Latin America, where hundreds of thousands of people enter the US via the Mexican border every year. Trump wants to close the border and deport millions of illegal immigrants. Rubio supports this, saying there is no other solution.
But the senator is also considered a hardliner when it comes to China and Russia. He can expect more personal responsibility and more bite from Europe, especially when it comes to Ukraine or the intensification of the trade dispute with China. He will also expect a turning away from the socialists in Eastern Europe, Putin's friends.
This will also be the answer to the socialists and Putin friends in the Balkans, whether they are called Vucic, Rama or Dodic. None of the three are nationalists, but rather Moscow-oriented henchmen and per se socialists who have worked with Lavrov and Putin on the Open Balkans project.
Vucic tried to push through a real estate project in Serbia for Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner via Grenell. Soros's foundation is also active in Serbia. The aim is to develop the site around the former headquarters of the Yugoslav People's Army, which was severely damaged by NATO bombs in 1999. To this day, the building, which was bombed with American participation, stands unchanged in the centre of Belgrade. Rama tried the same game with Kushner in Albania. Kushner was to be bought de facto.

Jared Kushner is clever and wise enough to know that he cannot be bought by socialists and criminal, anti-Western autocrats.
Trump and the Republicans also know very well that no partnership is possible with socialists.
The close ties between the US Republicans and the Republicans in Serbia and the conservative DP around Sali Berisha in Albania, both of whom are in opposition and, like Trump, have suffered from the socialists' partisan prosecution of the judiciary, should now become the most important political anchor for Trump in the Balkans again.
This is likely to be further strengthened by the fact that the socialist Rama/Albania is involved in the Mc Gonigall corruption scandal/FBI and has close ties to the Soros family. Sorro junior visits Albania almost every month to see Rama, which should be a no-go for Trump and the Republicans.
A clear position can also be expected from the Republicans' and Trump's great friend, Sali Berisha. The Republicans, and Trump in particular, have always been very good at distinguishing between friends and enemies.
Trump himself will bring a necessary and fresh wind into international relations and provide answers to disruptive international situations.
It is clear that he expects a very clear positioning in the direction of the Western world/civilisation, which should also be in our interest.
