Trump the Sequel: the Revenge

Trump the Sequel: the Revenge

Have you ever pissed somebody off so much they sought revenge? I am not sure I have, but I have certainly imagined what it might be like many times, and seen film after film where the protagonist becomes the villain and wreaks havoc on the townspeople or just one innocent blonde bystander whose ice cream cone tumbles as he rages in the distance.

I do not want Trump raging in my TV, in my country, in my head. I do not want him in my head. Didn't we all think he was gone when it was about 2021 and Joe was firmly in charge of getting our vaccinations and we were breathing a sigh of relief to be in adult hands? Now, suddenly, he is not only on Fox but in big segment chunks on CNN blathering on and on about god knows what. Yesterday in the Bronx he had the gall to say the homeless needed to be cleared away, as if they were not even people. Does he not know that most of those people do not have criminal records for falsifying payment records to porn stars? If he does get thrown in the slammer, will he still be deriding homeless folks walking freely on our streets?

Trump the Revenge looks like a small man with a puny brain who will continue belittling every enemy that stands in the way of his mission, if not world domination then something close to it. A man who knows nothing of history, philosophy, or literature, who cannot quote so much as one classic book (did he ever read one in school or did he just get the CliffsNotes?), wants to be in charge of this glorious country once again.

Young people who protested the war in Gaza - and rightly so - often fail to see the reality, that a vote for Trump does not in any way help their cause. Trump is decidedly more infatuated with Netanyahu than Biden is. And their righteous protests could be the undoing of the campaign - that, along with his age and the stupid economy. Let's face it, too, that yes old is old, and Biden does read very old. But Trump reads very dangerous, stupid, and embarrassing. I for one do not relish the thought of going back to the UK and trying to defend my pathetic president (thought, side note, while in London my Egyptian landlord told me he loved Trump.)

Please take a look at Trump 2017 and Trump the day of the Insurrection. Forget his farting and sleeping in court. Trump-as-clown threatens to obfuscate Trump-as-devil and that is where we must stay focused.
