Trump the God-man and Passive Disrupter of Christians' Belief in their God

Being able to read—and more importantly, to read with comprehension—is fundamental to one's existence in a technological world. Yet, it seems that belief often shapes how people interpret written words. Take, for example, the reactions to certain texts and accompanying graphics. Would anyone instinctively cry blasphemy at the author and call for his damnation, using phrases such as "the blood of Jesus," infidel, Kofer, Megadef, or La‘natullāhi ‘alā al-kāfirīn? Yes—if they refuse to read the fine print.

This question brings me to a broader point regarding President Trump. I see and hear so much hatred for him, even from those who profess Christianity, that it makes me question whether they truly believe in God.

Was Trump viler than Saul of Tarsus, the Christian killer, whom God struck down and transformed into Paul, the great ambassador of early Christianity? If God could redeem Saul, why not Trump? If Christians believe God cannot do the same for him, then either their faith is weak, or they doubt the power of their own God.
